Refund & Returns Policy

Moss & Midnight is committed to fairness, clarity, and thoughtful customer care. This Refund & Returns Policy explains how refunds, returns, exchanges, and cancellations are handled for purchases made through our store, website, and events.

1. In-Store Book & Merchandise Purchases

Returns & Exchanges

  • New, unused books and merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase with a valid receipt.

  • Items must be in original condition, free of damage, markings, writing, bent pages, or excessive wear.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Used, damaged, or altered books

  • Signed or special-order books

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

 

Refund Method

  • Approved returns will be refunded to the original form of payment.

  • Cash purchases may receive cash or store credit at our discretion.

 

2. Event Tickets & Registrations

Refund Eligibility

  • Event tickets are refundable up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled event start time.

  • Refund requests must be submitted by email within this timeframe.

 

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Refund requests made less than 48 hours before the event

  • No-shows or missed events

  • Events affected by circumstances beyond our control (including weather or emergencies)

 

3. Event Credits & Transfers

At our discretion, we may offer:

  • Store credit toward a future Moss & Midnight event

  • Ticket transfers to another guest for the same event

Credits have no cash value and may include an expiration date.

 

4. Event Cancellations by Moss & Midnight

If an event is canceled by Moss & Midnight:

  • Guests will receive a full refund or the option of store or event credit

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment

 

5. Online Sales & Affiliate Purchases

Moss & Midnight does not process online book sales directly.

Purchases made through third-party affiliate links (such as Bookshop.org) are governed by the refund and return policies of those platforms. We are unable to issue refunds or exchanges for affiliate purchases.

 

6. How to Request a Refund or Return

To request a return or event refund, please contact us at:

  • Full name

  • Date of purchase or event

  • Receipt or order confirmation

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.

 

7. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

8. Policy Changes

Moss & Midnight reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
